Yes, it is. And easier than you can imagine! Many major airlines are making almost daily travels directly to Cuba from the states. Just arrive to the airport 2 or 3 hours prior and get you visa at the ticket counter. Just mark the section “Support for the Cuban People” under the application (pink card) and fill the requested information. Our itineraries besides providing you with an authentic immersion in the Cuban culture, they are also legally compliant with the US regulations
Credit cards issued by American banks won´t work here in Cuba, neither the ATMs. But USD are accepted in every establishment! The official exchange rate at the banks is 1 USD = 120$ Cuban Pesos (CUP). But in reality, the exchange rate can go from 1 USD= 200 – 250 CUP. The exchange rate will vary depending on the location owner. Most of the cases It will be cheaper buying stuff in Cuban Pesos. But don´t worry we can arrange for one of our partners to exchange your USD to CUP at your house upon arrival for a more better exchange rate that you can find on the streets.
Beach weather all year round! Every month of the year is a great month to come to Cuba. We only have two seasons in Cuba. Summer, and Summer with the occasional storm. Keep in mind that depending if it is the tourism High season or the Low season, prices can vary at some spots.
Cuba is one of the safest places in all of Latin America and the safest in the Caribbean, even for solo travelers! The only things you have to keep an eye out is for pickpocketing in very crowded places and being scammed in tourist traps. So as long as you are aware of your surroundings and have one of our specialized guides accompanying you. You won´t have to worry about a thing
